Live Forever – 2007

Neon, tree and galvanised steel

Live Forever takes the form of a neon sign replicating a hand written piece of text. The neon message pulses slowly on and off, illuminating the tree that it’s set within it, and then plunging it into darkness.

Live Forever was Commissioned by UZ Events for The Environmental Art Project. Initiated by UZ Events in partnership with Glasgow School of Art, The Environmental Art Project was aimed at combining challenging work from students of the Scottish art schools, alongside installations by established artists working throughout the world. As curator of the project I aimed to merge the park and the festival as breathing elements in a series of interconnected installations, created by the artists involved.
